Amendment to Chigachgook note
In my last paragraph I mentioned that I expanded my vocabulary in my pre Confirmation preparations by making liberal use of the magazine "wrack" in the barber shop, and the word that has stuck with me the longest is is " centerfold". Immediatedly remove from your minds any notion that we would have received such trash in our mail. Had my mother or Sister Fabiola caught the slightest whiff of that stench I wouldn't have been left with a knuckle to drag on the ground.

Dear Eric,
We just got back from a 2 week trip & one of the first things I did was check on how you're doing. I thought of you every day while we were gone. The blog site is fantastic. Your picture & comments made me smile. Hey, I thought I was supposed to do that for you! However, I don't see a blue mohawk in my future!
Lots of love to you & yours,
Ellie H.-M.
Hi Eric,
I'm still laughing about The War Department and the barber shop, the drink bait, and the fate of one who'd so much as consider the existence of a prurient thought.
Even your spirit guide couldn't have saved you from The War Department or Sister, but come on, what about these narrow minded people who say that you shouldn't go trolling!?!
Eric, I love the updates. Keep pushing the envelope.
I am convinced that you'll still get stares when you walk into an SF bar and order V-8 juice, with those sexy studs on the side of your head.
But I wouldn't mention centerfold to the guy alongside, he may have a different definition.
Mark
Hey You!
I love the high end humor that still subsides on your part. You've definately are taking this and making the most of it. I believe that we all come to a point in our lives where we are forced to make the unreality, our reality (Chigachgook). The story of the barber shop and they many other descriptive things you described have shown me another piece to the puzzle of Dr. Overland. I think we spend our whole lives trying to put ourselves together and it seems like the pieces finally start fitting together just as we are put to the test. You are always in my prayers & thoughts. Good Luck and keep the updates coming. It's great! God Bless Eric!
